Blogs are a relatively new type of communication. Since all of our groups are placing our blogs on Blogger.com, I decided to take this chance to educate everyone about the history of blogs. The links below include an article telling about when and how blogs started, and also a video explaining exactly what blogs are. I hope you enjoy this post. Mary Ann Reday.

This was a great post! I had never seen a blog before taking this class. Now I know how to design one and post my findings. Blogs are a good way of networking, but people do need to be cautious of what they post. To me, a blog is just another way for someone to have themselves heard by others.
ReplyDeleteBlogs are all over the place now. And although they can have news content, I would not classify Blogs as “News”. No real journalistic credentials are needed to start and publish a blog. And to many times “News” blogs are all about being first and not getting the true facts. Too many people thing they are important because of their blogs. In our current society everyone thinks their opinion needs to be heard and the Internet and blogs make this very easy. I for one do not care what you have to say. I am not saying all blogs are bad, just that there are too many blogs about worthless subjects out there.
