Internet made it's big debut a few years ago, and it was nowhere near where it is now! With internet came e-mails. E-mail stands for electronic mail, and it is just what it says. It's like sending a free letter, and it's not tangible. It's also an easier and much faster way to communicate. Mostly big companies use this as their form of communication because of its power.

I agree, with email it is so much faster to send one then sending a letter to someone through the mail not to mention it might get lost or misplaced. Also, we have text messages now. Everyone has a cell phone so if you can not send an email at the moment pull out your phone and send a text to that person still both are easy to do at the touch of a button.

ReplyDeleteThis is one piece of technology I use more often than anything else. Email I would say has actually been useful for me recently. The job market is looking grim out there and applying online hasn't really given me a chance to get a job. So I am require to send out resumes and cover letter to more local companies. Email has really help because i know that I won't be analyze by a third party company (as many companies use third party to figure out whether or not the applicant is deem worthy for the job) on the job requirements. So I enjoy email much more than apply online.
